Advantages of Flywheel Replacement over Machining
  1. Reduces risk of catastrophic failure due to fractures in the flywheel. Over time, heat can cause the flywheel microstructure to develop cracks and heat spots, which weaken the overall strength. Replacing the flywheel eliminates this risk. 
  2. Keeps original geometry, ensuring correct engagement and disengagement. When machining a flywheel, the overall height decreases, which can cause the clutch to not function correctly. Replacing the flywheel avoids this problem.
  3. Reduces installation time. Machining a flywheel can take several hours, while replacing the flywheel is a much quicker job. This can save you time and money. 
This clutch kit comes with a parts and labour warranty period of 12 months or 20,000 kilometers (whichever occurs first).
