If this is not done or not done correctly common issues experienced are shudder or slipping. Another issue that can arise from repeated flywheel grinds is disengagement problems experienced after installing the new clutch, this is due to having a lowered stack height. A way to overcome this which also solves the poor grind problem is replacing the flywheel with a new part instead of grinding. A further advantage is the hoist time saved which is otherwise wasted waiting for the flywheel grind.
PHC now offers a wide range of OEM spec replacement flywheels in clutch kits, giving you everything to need to get the job done, freeing up hoist time and decreasing release issues.
