Ford Ranger and Mazda BT-50 shared a platform and were developed as a joint venture (headed by Ford Australia). However, that partnership has now ended, and Mazda has found a new partner in the form of Isuzu Ute for the latest-generation BT-50. Although the Ranger belongs to the same class as the previous BT-50, it has remained modern thanks to regular updates. Dual front, front-side, and full-cabin curtain airbags, as well as rear child-seat attachment points, stability control, autonomous emergency braking systems, traffic-sign recognition, and a lane-keeping aid, are all standard features in both the Ranger and the BT-50.
Although the Ford and Mazda Ranger/BT-50 partnership is now over the PX Ranger and the UP model BT-50 are still extremely popular and the models see a wide range of upgrades available including engine modifications. When any engine modifications are made it’s important to upgrade the clutch so you can deliver that extra power to the road or trail. PHC has been producing performance off-road clutch systems for over 17 years including this Clutch & Concentric Slave Cylinder.
